IPCS Compass

Compass is the centralized locating engine of 9Solutions IPCS handling the location status of all tracked people and assets. Compass is the magic behind IPCS that does all the hard work to keep the system running.

IPCS Compass supports storing location information to its database and provides this information for the IPCS Smooth user interface or customer legacy application via the application programming interface (API).

IPCS Compass both monitors the health of installed systems and manages all the IPCS data transfers. Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology is used for protecting all transactions.

Just like the IPCS Smooth user interface, it is offered as a cloud service (SaaS). Local software installations are not required for using IPCS.

IPCS Smooth

Smooth is the graphical user interface of 9Solutions IPCS enabling monitoring the status of all tracked people and assets graphically using layout view or list view an offers easy access to all functions of the IPCS. IPCS Smooth has been designed keeping the 9Solutions’ motto “Keep it Simple” in mind. Despite being elegant and good looking, it is extremely easy to adopt.

IPCS Smooth controls all functions and features of the IPCS and provides instant access to stored data. It allows users to maintain and manage asset and person databases, manage alerts and tasks, send and receive messages, perform searches and view an asset, person, group or system level reports. Graphical user interface provides an easy way to add people and assets to IPCS Smooth and associate them with Tags. Grouping of people and assets is supported by default.

Just like the IPCS Compass locating engine, it is offered as a service (SaaS). A customer’s own user interface can be used instead of Smooth, utilizing API of the Compass. Local software installations are not required to use IPCS.
